Today is my birthday.

Last year on my birthday I was driving the 3.5 hours to San Francisco and then boarding a flight to Haiti. The next day I would be meeting my daughter for the first time. What an amazing birthday present that was!!

Little did I know that at that time it would take over a year to bring her home.

I hope by her birthday this year she will be home and next year on my birthday she will be in my arms for good!
